Freezing Issues in eMDs Linked to Citrix Workspace Update version 2503.2

We have recently observed an increase in reports from Windows users experiencing freezing and graphical issues while using eMDs.

Our investigation indicates that these problems most commonly occur when users switch between eMDs and other applications (such as email), then return to eMDs.

We’ve also identified that the root cause is the latest version of Citrix Workspace — version 2503.2, released on May 22nd, 2025.

To resolve this issue, we strongly recommend the following:

  1. Uninstall the current version of Citrix Workspace.

  2. Reinstall an earlier, stable version:
    Download Citrix Workspace 2409.10

To prevent future updates from reintroducing the issue:

  1. Open the System Tray and right-click the Citrix Workspace icon.

  2. Select Advanced Preferences.

  3. Click on Citrix Workspace Updates.

  4. Select “No, don’t notify me”.

  5. Click Save.
