The workaround for this issue is to change the ICD-9 code to the same code, then delete the ICD-10 codes. From Assessment: 1. Click the ICD-9 code description 2. Select 'Change code' 3. Search for the same code 4. Click 'Select' to drop it to the note 5. Reopen ICD-10 6. Delete ICD-10 code 7. Save.
